I'm the kind of person who easily gets tired of routines. I feel like I am being boxed so I keep on looking for variety. I keep on telling myself that maybe this is the reason why I am not getting fit at all. My lazy and procrastinating attitude leads me to what I am today- Fat. 

One sport that I always loved ever since I was a child is swimming and eventually anything that involves water. Unfortunately, I have no means of doing those things. <Procrastinating shit> So when I learned about Saddle Row PH, a place where you can do rowing indoors, I grabbed the opportunity to try it out.


Saddle Row is the Philippines first specialized indoor cycling and indoor rowing studio. The one I tried is located at the 2nd floor of Bonifacio Global City Serendra. I believe the offer for us bloggers is the cycling class, but I'm late so they just let me go with the rowing class instead. Yey!


I thought it'll be simply pulling the strings attached to the machine, but as usual, I'm wrong. Saddlerow offer tailor-fit 45-minute and 60-minute workouts that suit different individuals depending on their fitness level and background.


UNDERGROUND – And 5, 6, 7, 8! Listen to the music, pick up that beat and dance this class away! Head underground and have a blast with fun choreography sets to help you lose the weight and lose those two left feet. The best stress relief you'll have today!


Skinny jeans, firm stomach, tone arms. Who can resist? Welcome to our signature full body workout on the bike! Here you'll work with resistance bands throughout the cycling class to strengthen your arms, shoulders and core. A great couples workout so bring your partner or a friend and lose those inches together.


Attack the hills, cruise the coast, smash your next triathlon, drop that last 15 lbs. Exchange is pure cycling for the purist at heart. Here we geek out on the numbers so beginners and advanced riders alike can learn more about the science of cycling. Guy friendly with no dancing here!



Power with grace. Welcome to Finesse, a rowing foundations class where you'll learn the technique and build total body strength at a steady, rhythmic pace. Beginner friendly but a solid workout to come back to over and over.


Our signature team rowing class! Here we row together as a collegiate boat crew, polo and khakis included. Kidding! You'll spend 90% of the class on the rower working through fun but challenging interval sets. The result- hands down one of best full body workouts in the city and your fastest ticket to a rower's body. Google image a rower's body so you know what we are talking about!


Our surf and turf workout that combines cardio on the rower with floor based strength and stamina sets. A staple among collegiate rowers to get in shape for the season. It's a little more advanced class than Finesse so start there if you're new.

I love how the instructors keep you on track by setting your goals. Rowing indoors is definitely more challenging than the usual gym routines as it fully works out your arms and legs so basically your whole body. <that is if I'm not mistaken>
